The meeting starts at 6:00 pm and I have invited John Bechtold to address the Board of Aldermen and any citizens who might want to ask questions or provide input concerning the 35 mph speed limit.

I have been in contact with Mr. Bechtold and he informed me that he is in the process of completing a study on this section of highway and has some speed limit suggestions based on those studies.

Update on Chief Willis

May 28, 2009

I talked to Mayor Masterson today and he informed me that Chief Dennis Willis had received severel “stints” for his heart while in the hospital and will be discharged soon.  Officer Shaffer will remain “acting” Chief of Police until Chief Willis can return.  Again I wish Chief Willis a speedy recovery and in the meantime , I remain confident of Officer Shaffer’s ability to fill in as activing Chief of Police in the mean time.
