Alderman Clint E. Lacy endorses Michael Winder for State Rep. 156th District

I was listening to a local country radio station the other day and heard an ad in which a little old lady ( or at least someone talking like a little old lady) stated that they were “tired of politicians talking about how they are going to work for you” and then goes on to use Michael Winder, candidate for  State Representative of Missouri’s 156th District as an example.

The “little old lady” then goes on to perpetrate one of the worst lies in the history of politics, stating that Michael Winder is going to raise you taxes and those of your employer’s, after which she then perpetrates the second worst lie in political history by stating that Shelley Keeney will keep taxes low and help bring jobs to the 156th District.

The coup de gras is when the “little old lady” says, “Michael Winder may be working for someone, but it’s not us”.

Well what did you expect from the same people that brought you Matt Blunt and “Chicken” Jim Talent?

It shows that clearly the Missouri GOP is very nervous about the outcome of the race for Missouri 156th District.

Who is Michael Winder working for? That’s not a hard question to answer. He gets up every morning at 4:30 and often drives as far away as St. Louis to set iron. He works hard to provide for his family, and he will work just as hard for the voters of the district.

He is a staunch supporter of our Second Amendment rights and has been given an “A” rating by the National Rifle Association.

He’s Pro-Life earning the endorsements of Missouri Right to Life as well as Missourians United for Life and unlike Keeney’s mentor “Rod Jetton” if elected he will not use his position for personal gain, he will be your representative, not someone else’s “paid consultant”.

The real question that needs to be asked is; who is Shelley Keeney working for?

Shelley Keeney works for House Speaker Rod Jetton, in fact she is his heir apparent, running for his seat that he must vacate due to term limits. According to Rudy Keller’s blog post published October 9th, 2008, “Keeney said she has been a political supporter of Jetton since she began volunteering at his annual skeet shoot when he was a member of the Bollinger County Commission”

Ordinarily this would be a plus for a candidate, unless the guy you’ve supported and worked for called Missourians in his district “lazy” and stated publicly that he would trade them for “hard working Mexicans” in a “heartbeat”.

It would be a plus for a candidate unless the guy you’ve suppored all these years co-sponsored a slavery apology bill introduced by a radical St. Louis  Muslim named Talibdin El-Amin.

It would be a plus for a candidate unless the two men that Jetton depended on to get the bill to the House floor, later committed criminal acts.

Republican Representative Nathan Cooper of Cape Girardeau was convicted of immigration fraud.

Republican Representative Scott Muschaney of Frotenac  was recently indicted for deviant sexual assault of a 14 year old girl.

Perhaps Jetton and his gang , (who I’ve dubbed the “The Talibdin Three” have become more of a liability than an asset for Mrs. Keeney and perhaps the Missouri G.O.P. is so desperate that they have resorted to lying (via paid radio ads) about Michael Winder in an attempt to divert attention away from the real issues.

Perhaps House Speaker Jetton had good intentions when he first ran for Representative of Missouri’s 156th District, but those good intentions soon took a back seat to lucrative “consulting contracts” and the neglect is showing in his district.

The infrastructure, the towns and the communities of the 156th are in need, they need a representative that will work with the constituents to improve these conditions and I think Mr. Winder is just the man for the job.
